I'm a british developer who's about to move to Auckland and want to introduce myself as self proclaimed geek. I do development for a living but love all aspects of technology. I get excited about bits and bytes esp. if they're wrapped in cool looking gadgets.

I am really really sorry (about you having to move to Auckland of all places... :-P )
Just south of Auckland is a place called "New Zealand" - make sure you get out and see it!

ooo you guys must be really fed up of us in the rest of world only seeming to come to auckland :-) One of the things I intend to do in my first year to is travel way south just so I can say at least I've seen it once :-)

hy guys I'm back. Been really busy setting up in the new country and have forgotten to be a geek! Anyway found my self sorting out the landlords pc yesterday and I realised - this is cool stuff. I'm geeking again!
