Hi All,

I've tumbled across this site when I was searching for the link to the xda developers site... and i'm glad i clicked that link in google.  I didnt realise that there was a forum like this in NZ. I'm new to Wellington, been here for a couple of months only, working in a bank.

My most prized possession is the xda universal (you call it imate jasjar here in NZ) which was an anniversary gift from my hubby. I've been hooked to IT stuff eversince I discovered i can install sis files in my nokia7650 six years ago.  Im happy to be in NZ but I regret leaving the really cool hi tech stuff (with hot price) in Asia-- here, I usually get asked about what's this thing sticking in my ear (yep, a bluetooth headset) where in SG /MY, I'd be just one of those bugged-ear people.  I'm not really a geek coz I know zilch about programming and my best attempt at making a website was done thru frontpage, but I can format a pc on my own, yay!

So that's it.. i hope i learn a lot from you, forum-mates. thanks for the warm welcome. :-)

When I had my Apache I used one all the time. Now I dont use it as much although it is handy while I'm at work at getting calls.

With a big phone, I think I'd look more stupid holding it in my ear so i'd rather have a bluetooth headset. I feel like i have a brick near my ear using my phone, especially since its case is red.. haha.. And I love my headset, I have it hung around my neck and people often mistake it for an mp3 player. It's a great conversation starter too... :-)
