Hey guys, thought i'd do the proper thing and introduce myself.

I'm based in Tauranga at the moment, but move around for job training frequently. I work at the hospital here (hence the forum alias), and don't have any hobbies or a life currently as i'm studying for more exams. Seems to be a never ending process in this profession, graduated about 8 years ago, but still have two sets of exams to go for career progression!

Always been into computers and tech. The latest love of my life is my HTC One.

Cheers

Ps put it that way, slog for 15 years, guarantee a well paid job for life.

As opposed to less job security (look at robbie deans, ex directors of finanve companies, factory workers facing restructure)

Oh, and no one made you do this ;p

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

Well done - you found us: Welcome!

This is a great place for asking and answering questions, and just stuff :)

Housewife computerer: not particularly great at either.
And don't take me too seriously.

Thanks for the welcome, already found some useful info from the forum.

Yes you're right, i do have good job security, and i did choose this for myself.. i was just taking the opportunity to have a little whinge, i'm sure i'm not the only one that likes to complain about their job ;) There are always pros and cons, but easier to focus on the cons at times.

On a side note, i accidentally clicked on an icon for this post, but can't see any way of deselecting it now, only option seems to be choosing another one.. am i missing something?

Re the icon, I think we have all done that, once. Also don't feed the trolls :)
