Hi,

My name is Synteche and I am an IT recruitment consultant. Now i'm sure you must be thinking, she's using the site to find candidates. In all honesty, it would be a bonus to find potential candidates but it's not why i'm here. I'm here because I need to learn more about what IT professionals do each day in their roles. In the same way you wouldn't trust a doctor who didn't know much about medicine, you wouldn't trust a recruiter who didn't understand the field they recruit in. So i'm here to learn and share stories/expertise. Just generally bounce ideas off each other and meet people. All are welcome, analysts, administrators, testers, coordinators, developers, etc...I want to hear from you.

If you're interested, message me back and we'll take it from there.

Welcome to GeekZone.

There are a lot of IT professionals here, all levels too.

Then there are a lot of people who are great with IT but it isn't their day job

Additionally you have the random housewife- that's me

These folks are great and answer all sorts of questions, and discuss a huge variety of stuff not just IT

So either find a conversation to join, or start one :)

<- don't ask me where I am - I haven't a clue: its a tech thing ;)
Housewife computerer: not particularly great at either.
And don't take me too seriously.
