Greetings to everyone.

I’m new to the Geekzone, Auckland and New Zealand but an "old" computer user.

I’ve been dabbling in IT since I started creating games on my Sinclair ZX80 and ZX81 computers. What a journey its been from there through the Spectrum; Commodore 64; IBM Mono 286; my first colour monitor - a16 colour IBM monitor; PC Jr; 386 & 486 clones; home-built AMD clones and other contenders; networking, modems, video cards; the Pentium range… and that’s just on the hardware side!

I’ve also had PDAs in various forms since the Palm Pilot. My present PDA is the Palm TX and I enjoy chatting about all aspects of IT and technology.
