Hi,

I'm Paul, originally from Scotland but now an NZ citizen.  I have worked in Telecommunications all my career (initially satellite station technology) including 10 years with NZ Telecom (in 80's / 90's under many names) but am now retired.  Expertise was in Network Design, latterly optical backhaul and core networks for C&W in UK.

Mac user (since they were introduced to Telecom in 1980's) I and my wife have an iMac, two iPads, a Macbook Pro and old Macbook.

Like downloading BBC iPlayer content (using VPN) and run a NAS on a wired Ethernet network.  Looking forward to fibre based services.
