Hi To Everyone in Geekzone,

While searching for some interesting tech news, I had found this website and was pretty informative and impressive and I was really interested to join this website. Oh!!! by the way my name is Yuko Koieke, I think many of you have guessed, Yessss!!! I am a Japanese BUTTTT born and brought up in Boston and now leaving in Dhaka Bangladesh and working for a reputable Japanese Organization.

I know for a girl its not that common, but I love to find about the latest gadgets in the market. Currently, I am into biometric technology like fingerprint readers, iris scan, facial recognition etc. I started loving fingerprint technology just this year after i recieved a cool fingerprint reader for my laptop during my birthday. I found the technology was so cool, that i started doing a lot of research on it, actually some of my friends consider me as a biometric analyst hehehe, which would be a cool job to have. I know Japan is very high tech and we have a lot of creative technology gadgets but I never realized we where so advanced in the field of biometrics. Just few weeks ago they released the new iris scan phone and 70% of all our ATM in the country have embedded fingerprint technology, making our transactions more secured.

Anyhow, playing sports is a great pass time for me and I love playing volleyball, billiards, ping pong & basketball. Sometimes excercise is very important to stay both mentally and physially fit. Now, I always wanted to be an airhostess because I love travelling and visited many places like Korea, Hong Kong, U.A.E, Turkey, USA, UK & Spain. Beautiful sceneries is my weakness and I can't resist delicious ethnic food. Unfortunately, never got a chance to go to New Zealand but its on my list for future traveling.

Well thats all from me, if you guys have any question please feel free to ask. Have a Great Day Guys!!!

Welcome to Geekzone!  It is a very informative website with a vibrant community!:)

By the way, went over to Boston earlier this year on business and absolutely loved the place!!!!  So clean, tidy and full of culture.  The underground trams needed upgrading though, hehe.

Welcome to Geekzone! Good to see you around here... I come from a place in Brazil with lots of Japanese influence in the culture, and my wife (a kiwi) actually lived in Japan for almost five years...

Enjoy your time here! Fire the questions, posts answers. Make friends (start by clicking the "+ Friend" buttons in the forums)...

Hi! And welcome :D

I tried to learn Japanese at school, and got nowhere. Never been to America or Japan.

Hello and welcome to geekzone.

I too studied Japanese in highschool and despite trying to learn Mandarin now, found it a really good experience. Haven't been in Japan myself, but rather close (Korea and China).
