Hi everyone,

I've lost count how many times these forums have helped me solve a techie issue or answer a geeky question.  About time I signed up so I can ask new interesting questions and hopefully contribute some of my knowledge too.

A bit about me – I work as an Analyst which, in our organisation, is a pretty ambiguous thing to be.  In my case it's all about data, databases, SQL and VB.  And of course pretty charts and reports.

I have always been fascinated by techie things.  For better or worse I just have to know how something works or why it doesn't work or what all of the hundreds of settings and options do!
