Gidday I'm Guy, long time lurker who thought I should probably create an account finally so I can participate.

First intro to tech came when I started working for VFNZ back in 2002 (Retail) and taught myself about networks, email and the internet to help sell and support the burgeoning mobile data sector.

I've long since left VF (2007) but I still keep up my geek side.  I run Ubuntu linux and OS X on my home computers (plus Windows 7 in dual-boot occasionally) and know those OS's pretty well, although not to a coding/developer level.
