Hi All from Bristol UK

My Name is Dion and I am Usually based in Wellington but am on an extended holiday to the UK for a few years.
I have been a member of Geekzone since last year but I have not done much posting until I was getting bored on the late shift and now go through the forums every day.

I like new technology helps me keep in touch with everyone back home.
Since coming over to the uk have not been able to do much as my 2003 server is in my parents garage and they have taken over my pc  for just chatting and emails, am looking foward to reviving he network when I am back in the country.

Bye for now

White Christmas?
Welcome and post pictures for those of us stuck with glorious summer days!

Talk about summer days here... This weekend was great in Wellington. We went to Plimmerton for a walk on the beach, the other little cousins came around so we had the three girls playing with sand, water, while we had afternoon tea at the bach...

Oh, and it was hot too...

Ok now you are really starting to make me home sick, I have not seen a real summer for almost 2 years (could you call last summer in Wellington a summer?) and all it did was rain here.
Maybe I should just go back to Dubai for a while.

Don't think I will see a white christmas but I am going for a trip through the Swiss Alps on the train on New Years Day.

Today was the best day we have had in bristol for ages so went for a bike ride to see the Clifton birdge (you can google the history) but was more clowdy than sunshine.

Enjoy the sun while it lasts

Well yes Summer does appear to have begun early, I just hope it hangs around for longer than 3 weeks.

But you get to see lots of trains! You can't be homesick with trains!

The weather in Wellington was sensational. If this is what global warming is going to deliver us then I say burn some more coal and bring it on! :-)
