Good Morning all!

I found this forum whist searching for some answers to a 'thinking outside the box' DIY networking task, and although I am literally the other side of the world, the members of this forum seem more clued up than those of another couple I stumbled across.

Although passionate about the projects I embark, all of my limited networking knowledge is self taught, and I think that is half the fun.

looking forward to chatting with some of you,

many thanks,

Matt.

Welcome to Geekzone!

Sometimes it is helpful having some brains on tap on the other side of the world so you can get some fresh ideas while you sleep (or while you are panicking late at night). I've certainly phoned the UK support numbers for some of our software suppliers a number of times when the local office has closed.

Hi, still not allowed to post links yet, but one was remote accessing a mobile WiFi device, the other to do with PoE cables.

Thank you.
That's a very good way of looking at, effectively a 24h help desk! ;).
