Hi, I've been visiting here for a while so thought it's about time I introduced myself.
I'm known for fixing up peoples xDSL broadband issues by sorting out their internal wiring and installing a Master Filter / Splitter I also install Rural Broadband
I live in the Waikato and commute once a week to the big smoke Auckland for a couple of days work. I primarily do general IT work for home and small business, but over the years that's growning into broadband troubleshooting / installation, structured cabling, VoIP and pretty much anything else slightly technically related.

I also like very good coffee!

Cheers
Fraser

P.S. I think I've just earned another badge :)

Chorus has spent $1.4 billion on making their xDSL broadband network faster. If your still stuck on ADSL or VDSL, why not spend from $150 on a master filter install to make sure you are getting the most out of your connection?
I install - Naked DSL, DSL Master Splitters, VoIP, data cabling and general computer support for home and small business.
Rural Broadband RBI installer for Ultimate Broadband and Full Flavour

Hi @coffeebaron Welcome to Geekzone

Will a master filter on my dial up 28k connection make my latency lower and speed it up to 150GBp/s?

@sbiddle told me so

Anything that comes out of the mouth of @sbiddle must be true, so yes this will speed up your dial-up, unless you are only getting "dial-up speed" of 300kbps+ on a Conklin, then nothing that sbiddle says can fix this.

I'm surprised you can get dialup in the chopper, did they put that in for your commute to the shore? Must be a bloody long wire

Welcome Coffee... I mean Fraser!

Nice to see you around the place.

I have a master filter in place, but thanks anyway :)

I'm not sure that my almost-rural-broadband can be improved anyway :(

Housewife computerer: not particularly great at either.
And don't take me too seriously.
