Well, hello.   I guess I could have made my introduction before posting a first comment in another thread.  Just happened that I was in a hurry to find a solution for our other computer.

I'm a stay at home mom of five kids. My husband works, and in his free time just browses online.  I on the other hand am here most of the time, while kids are at shcool and hubby's at work........ Mom's free time.

I'm not a nit-wit when it comes to computers. I've been online for almost 10 years now, having first started on a public computer at a local library.  Got my first pc at home about a year after that and have been learning ever since.  But I'm still only a "wannabe".

Like I'd said in my first post, I"m the one that everyone comes to to fix their problems with their own machines.  I could usually fix anything wrong with a machine running Win2000 or XP but this Vista's got me thrown for a loop in a lot of ways.

I like the fact that there are a lot of "user helps" but when the answer I'm looking for isn't there, and MS's site doesn't help either (they get a bit technical)..... I have always resorted to forums, chat or other friends I keep in touch with who know more about this stuff than I do.

Kinda why I'm here.  Guess I'd like to make friends who are interested in either teaching...... or simply those hoping to learn together.

Other than all that........ I'm usually around most days sometimes nites....... maybe it has a bit to do with the fact that besides being online, my only other real vice is coffee 24/7

So, if no one minds I may just take a look around here and see what other answers I can come up with for some of the issues we've been having.  Just got two eMachine rebuilds from TigerDirect.  Not sure if I'll ever buy another rebuild or anything else from TigerDirect lol.

Ok, I've rambled enough.  Just wanted to say hello and like the thread indicates........ Introduce myself.

Thanks
~Lisa
