Hey,

I'm new to the forum scene but thought this would be the perfect place to find some advice on my latest project.

I'm building a house and looking at setting up a network etc. as it's going to be quite a long brick house

I'll start a new thread tomorrow or something regarding the project. this thread is about introducing me.

I'm Based up in Kerikeri, Northland. I'm in a govt. job and used to enjoy all things technology, but sadly i'm not up to date with current tech as I've got 3 young kids and my interests are on the back burner at the moment.

Be great to meet people who have knowledge and who would enjoy sharing some of it.

I was just reading a post on here about setting up a network and just had a horrible feeling i'm out of my depth... I might just have to ask for a shopping list, then I have a mate who used to work for a cabling company he might have a few ideas as well...

I'm sure I'll get there in the end. Hope you guys have patience... hahahaha
