Hi All,

Like many others who have joined - I have been a long time lurker, and the recent Weather Station discussion finally got me to sign up.

About myself - I am an Electrical Engineer, working mostly with High Voltage Substation Control and Automation and SCADA systems. All done from the office these days; I don't miss the days of climbing over equipment in HV Switch yards in all weathers.

At home I am servant to two elderly Maine Coon Cats. Interests include Model railway (N Scale) and controlling it via Raspberry Pi, Aviation - FR24 / Flight-Aware Feeder, Weather Stations - Tempest has just replaced the old La Crosse 2355.

Hopefully I will be able to contribute back to the group after having found many discussions very helpful
