hello, geekzone ppl. i have a first gen, 16 gig jb iphone running the latest fw, and i'm tempted to get a certain custom one but since 3.0 is coming soon....not sure if i want to restore again for the zillionth time.

right now, i'm back on the mainland from seven years on oahu and all but that last year mostly not online. iphone lured me back, and wow! the net is so wonderful these days! life things have me owning just my clothes and my iphone at the moment. soon i may be getting a macbook air and moving back to my old stomping grounds (ashland, or). a friend who used to program in c is willing to learn objective c with me. goal: make iphone apps, of course!

for now, i'm just jumping into all sorts of things on the web: webapps, browsers, etc. i use chrome and firefox (ff as of this week) mostly, but i've used safari on mac, pc, and iphone; firefox on a dell running vista, chrome, ff, ie 7 and 8 on XP, safari on a mac (running leopard, i think), and so on. because my laptop got stolen  so i use whatever anyone will loan me.if the macbook air doesn't happen, or maybe even if it does, i also might get a dell mini 9 (for hackintosh purposes). we'll see.

i've also been jumping into the whole web 2.0 thing. i twitter, i flickr, i blogger, i vox..and a whole lot more. yesterday i deleted like 90 services from my "welcome" email folder because these were ones i don't really use. i still have more than that left.

i'm also trying out every im that comes to my notice, and also twitter clients, photoshop like things, and so on. i have mail with six services (i think).

i'm iquanyin on most social sites, or maybe all (can't quite recall). absolutely no one but me has shared my interests all year, so joining geekzone seems like a cool thing.

my current favorite tech things (besides my phone) are: twitter, sumo paint, digsby, playlist, epocratese. cooliris, xmarks, sharethis, friendfeed, photonphanfare, phonefavs, gmail, chrome, twhirl, itweet2, xsellize, thebigboss, cydia, and txtdrop (i don't have sms right now).

i have many other skills and interests, covering a wide range of life, but tech is my current obsession.

oh, i forgot to add a very useful thing, if you don't want a lot of spam in any mailbox (on iphone, it's easy to accidently tap your spam folder and choke the phone): tinymail.me...pretty much i've had zero spam in the mail accounts i set up using it from the start. soooooo nice. ; )
