Hi all Wink

Ok so it's now cool to be a geek. Back in the 80's when I was at school things were a bit different with Compuserve being the best available global communications medium at $10/hr and no one else around who had the foggiest idea about the Z80 SBC I'd designed for my 6th form computer class. Somehow survived all that and achieved my goal of being a successful electronics engineer.

These days I find myself with kids and all but still very much on the forefront of technology. Lots of toys including professional laser show gear and robots to keep the kids busy. Current focus is helping other kids gain an interest in science and engineering through a robotics competition called FIRST LEGO League, see my post in the robotics forum.

Geekzone forums are a great place to keep tabs on what's going on and I'm sure some of my engineering experience and knowledge will come in handy.

Cheers,
Jason
