Hi All,

Was recommended to join at lunch so I'm taking action!

Warning up front I'm in IT sales rather than a real techo, but I've got a fair bit of knowledge to share non-the-less ;).

I'm working for Web Drive (www.webdrive.co.nz) right now used to work for Rackspace in the UK and before that Unisys in the UK and New Zealand.

I've helped people who have a $10 requirement right up to $10 Million requirement and anywhere in between.

I'm hoping to share some knowledge and get some help!

Look forward to posting with you all,

Neil.

Cheers,

Neil.

Welcome to Geekzone... Unisys yo say? I worked there - for exactly 16 years. Good times.

I was a web drive customer, and I think the business I sold my holdings in is still a customer. That would be 5 years or so ago.

And what a great lunch it was too.  Pity I don't get a referral cheque for every new user I suggest to join Geekzone...

Welcome to GZ Neil.

Hi Everyone,

Thanks for the warm welcome and thanks Nate for the recommendation. Glad to hear there are some long time Webdrive customers out there thanks for your support over the years!

Can anyone recommend any good ways to get involved? I've been searching for topics I know something about so that i can contribute. Are there better ways to keep tabs on relevant questions or topics?

Cheers,

Neil.

Hey Mauricio,

Which team were you working with at Unisys? I was in the Auckland office from 2003 - 2005? Worked mainly in Outsourcing.

Neil.

Cheers,

Neil.

I'd recommend you use the RSS feeds - grab the code for each of the forums you are more interested on (I guess it would be IT Pro, Windows, Desktop Computing and perhaps Broadband to start with). But check the other forums we have, you never know.

You don't have to post replies to just hosting related questions. If you know the answer about something or feel inclined to give your opinion, go ahead. Participation in all levels (even the movie related thread which seems to be one of the most actives around)...
