welcome to geekzone kathryn.

suggest you (and everyone else reading this) do a couple of things:
* change your public profile on geekzone so it doesnt show everyone your full name
* google yourself (i.e. ful name) and see how much information people can get on you anonymously - e.g. photos, date-of-birth, hometown etc
* then fix your myspace/bebo/windowslive/facebook/other profiles so they dont give out too much information to strangers
* tell your friends to do the same :-)

if you're unsure how to do this, then you've come to the right place. lots of 'geeks' here ready to answer your questions and help you out!
