I've been here a while (since last year I think) and I've even posted a few times, so I thought I should do the decent thing and let you all know who I am.

You can call me Astro, I'm 26 and I live in the Waikato, but soon to be Auckland or New Plymouth, haha.

I'm a mum first and foremost, but I'm studying Nat Cert in Computing level three, and after that I might carry on with the computing buzz.

My main reason for joining geekzone is to have geeks on hand for when I mess things up with my computer, cellphone, dvd player *blush* - do you guys feel used? lol.

The other reason that has emerged now is getting help and discussing things with regard to my course, but those reasons aside, it's good having such a mass of knowledge on a big range of all things technology related that is done for Kiwis! :) In saying that, I doubt I'll be posting much, what with being too busy with life in general.

Some of my hobbies are photography, gaming (mostly embarrassing kid games on PC because I suck at adults ones), bushwalks, reading, holistic therapy, and watching freaken (I had to replace that word, is there ANYWHERE we're allowed to use the F word on here?) awesome movies like Zack & Miri make a porno, The Hangover and Family Guy.

I've added a photo, I look a bit retarded, but start as you mean to go on, right?

Keep up the good work Geeks and I'll see you guys around. ;)

I don't know if I should thank you or not. I think it worked better when it was just a link. Could've been used for one of those prank things like the scary maze game. Haha!

Damn. I need to start using the computer less. Where it says:

Some of my hobbies are photography,

I read:

Some of my hobbies are pornography,

But anyways... Welcome to GZ!
