Please allow a quick self introduction: I'm currently based in Tokyo, masquerading as VP of Search Marketing for a small software venture. My job is to make sure our company gets media attention, so I write regular columns for a couple of tech news websites and recently had a book published in Japanese called "The Search Engine Wars". My company builds CMS and affiliate management software based on SEO/SEM ideas. We also have a tracking tool for monitoring all online marketing efforts in one go: SEO/SEM, affiliate sales, email campaigns, banner ads, etc.

I'll be returning to Auckland later this year. Real happy to have found this site.

Welcome to Geekzone... Glad you're making your way back to New Zealand. Hope you can find something interesting here - what you are doing now sounds interesting, but I would expect this kind of stuff coming out of Sylicon Valley instead.

Anyway, enjoy the ride!
