Firstly just to have the freedom for the sake of it, I hate Telecom in every shape and form and anyone related to them, and american culture. I say that as it's just expressing who I am.
Well I'm 23 from New Zealand (Auckland). I co-own and operate a large private non-corporate data security firm. Have various websites around the place and many forums, thought I'd join as the noobs i hire come here. So i hope this as good as informing as i hear it is. Spare time mod xbox's and mobile's and sky tv decoders.
Oh well thats me briefly.

So you hate me and my partner? (What did we ever do to you? I have probably never met you, and I dont do business in the region you live in.) Thats an attitude that is certainly not welcome on these forums, although of course you are welcome to harbour your hatred elsewhere. (We are not the thought police).

I think it would be wise to edit your post, and start again.... (and I will edit this one).

Feel free to talk about your dislike about the way a company does business, or its ethics or promos, prices, services, whatever... but dont go slagging off people you have never dealt with and saying you hate them, just because a person is related to Telecom in some way.

With an attitude like that I can't see him making it far in the corporate world..

Whether you like or hate Telecom the simple fact is that it is hard to operate in New Zealand and not have to deal with them.

I wonder if this is going to turn out to be a big troll on telecom.

How?
  • The post above (First post, that is)

  • This post.

  • A word of advice: I think a more moderate path when posting is required to ensure you don't step on peoples toes. Posting "I hate *carrier* in every shape and form" on a forum which just by chance has quite a few *carrier* employees isn't a great way to get the red carpet treatment.

    I hope you don't keep posting the troll baits you have been posting already.

    Remember, this is a private owned forum and there's no reason we should tolerate or host posts that have no specific merit to the discussion groups here.

    I have already locked other threads where X_Boxer1 posted, but I'd not like to ban the IP or username. So please, be polite, follow the rules and contribute something useful, no indiscriminate bashing.

    Other people post here about problem with operators, service providers, etc, but all with a good spirit, trying to improve the services offered and helping other users. Bashing just for bashing is not an option.

    You sound like a hacker and a pirate. I hate people like you who think that they are an exception to society and don't have to live by the same rules as everyone else.

    I hope MS, Sky and whomever else you rip off catches up with you and flails your arrogant a_se!

    Telecom don't suck,, They do have their bad point and have some stuff which is fantastic.
    Vodafone don't suck, they have some serious ilks and some amazing systems and stuff which is world leading.
    Woosh don't suck, They have some bad moves and some which is fantastic.

    The company I work for don't suck, they have some serious issues in areas (cust service for example) but otherthings are very innovative and world-leading.

    All Monopolistic corporates are seen as evil.. they are in a business to make money and they must have some guidelines (and nasty restrictions from users point of view) but implemeting new stuff is expensive, and would cost a lot more to do. Some companies must have cash cows to feed not-so-good performing parts of the business.. a prime example is Telecoms WAP charging feeding $10 TXT, Vodafone LIVE, feeding network upgrades (3g) and possibly Free TXT wkends..

    With most monopolistic companies and charging there are usually (always somewhere)cheaper alternatives but some is economy cost (EG: why dig out a tree spending 5 hours when you could but a new one and spend 15 minutes replanting it)

    Telecom ----> Woosh IPphone or Skype.
    HVC+ ---> Sky UHF
    Voda Video calls ----> laptops and wi-fi
    Vodafone LIVE ----> Polyphonicringtonez.com

    Also with these forums, there are many users whom work for certain companies with many different views, Please post on a neutral basis and try and get feedback about a gripe (product/service), not generalised "i hate telecom" when they have some stuff which is Wonderful.

    :-)
