Hello All,

cliche i know but another long time reader first time poster here.

I am an Analyst Developer working for Telecom NZ since 2006 and lurking the Geekzone forums since about the same time.  Certainly provided plenty of very useful advice and tips, e.g. Okta Touch firmware upgrade threads.  Currently Enjoying the Tivo forums (new toy!).

I studied Telecommunications at Otago university in Dunedin before moving to Wellington where i am currently based.

Consider myself a pretty typical male for my generation,  i.e. enjoys 'playing with' all manner of electronic gadgets, computers, and entertainment equipment and 'big boys toys'.

topics of interest that come to mind off the top of my head include: computers (hardware, overclocking etc), phones, tivo, HTPCs, networking & wireless technologies, Gaming (PC&Console), Digital Photography (DSLR).

anyway finally signed up (had a feeling i had a username a long time ago, but its long forgotten...)

Cheers
FPS (Ross)
