I found this forum while looking for reviews on different broadband providers. I'm new to NZ and to Auckland and super excited to find a NZ specific forum like this for geeks and techies :)

I'm a tech hobbyist and enjoying tinkering with computers and gadgets during my free time, and coding and scripting.  I have two IBM Thinkpads and Macbook (very recent acquisition) but I'm more of a PC person.  I also own an iPod Touch.  I speak PHP and an assortment of other languages, and I'm now digging into Java. I do a bit of web development using CMSs and PHP, and I also enjoy writing tutorials during my free time.  I am self taught in all things computer related, no formal learning in that field, and I have an infinitely long list of things I want/intend to learn, including how to create android apps!!

Excited to be here and looking forward to interacting with you all, sharing, learning, and all that good stuff.

Welcome!

Audiophiles are such twits! They buy such pointless stuff: Gold plated cables, $2000 power cords. Idiots.

OOOHHHH HYPERFIBRE!
