Hi Everyone,

I'm an IT systems support manager working within the New Zealand Health Care sector who has an interest in Health System Interoperability and all aspects of Cloud Computing. I have been working for over 10 years in Christchurch, wellington and Auckland within a range of different business sectors. I have also recently completed post graduate study in Computer and Information Sciences at AUT.

I hope to network with other professionals in the industry in order to promote Cloud Computing to New Zealand Businesses.

Kind Regards,

Brian

Mmm, cloud computing.

Still, has issues in NZ! (Hosting in NZ is expensive, but while US hosting is cheap, it has privacy/legal/latency issues!)

Don't forget to come to the various conferences on around the country! (InternetNZ ones like NetHUI, NZNOG's, various *camps..)

I agree with it still having issues in New Zealand particulary for hybrid/ mixed deployments. Thanks for the tip regarding conferences!
