Hi, my friend has run an aerial cable from his Sky decoder to a TV in the bedroom so that he can get the same Sky channel in the bedroom. He used a splitter, from which he connected a 2nd aerial cable to go into the bedroom TV.

I have tried to do the same but cannot get the same Sky programme nor a good picture for any other channel. The picture on the TV is like it would be if you had no aerial in it. I have checked the cable by using a double connector to join it to my rabbits ears & it all worked like a normal aerial.

My TV is connected to a Home Theatre System, the sky Decoder & a DVD player. Does the Home Theatre System change the way I should make the connections please? Can anyone advise me, please?

Does it work if you run the RF out of the sky directly to the other TV?
