Howdy Folks,
I'm basically an artist of sorts with a penchant for sculpture but along the side I'd be a geek in training.
I got my first computer at the turn of the century so I could learn how to build valve amplifiers and have since built my own computer from
parts, built numerous valve amplifiers... for electric guitar, then got into semi conductor electronics to build fx pedals and have just recently
gone over to Ubuntu and today loaded Ubuntu studio 11.04.

As well as the above kind of electrically based stuff I do alot of work with light gauge steel and timbers with a bent towards furniture and
fittings... not to mention full scale building and carpentry. I also make my own clothes. I'd put some links in but I've yet to transfer my
bookmarks and passwords so it'd just take too long.

Anyways I'm planning to learn command line stuff as well as rabbiting around in old PC's and laptops for spare parts so I think this place might be good for me... and if anyone needs furniture, fittings or building work done, with an artistic sway away from normal... I'm your man!

Cheers and thanks for having me,
  Sean.

Just a pic so far but soon I'll start filling it up
