Hey everyone,

I'm new to New Zealand, only arrived in Aukland two days ago from Scotland. Unfortunetly I didn't bring my laptop so I'm using internet cafes at present. Anyway, does anybody have any advice about the area? Any place on North Island would be cool as I'm going to travel all over. Any useful information such as club nights, cheap places to access the internet (preferably 24h), budget accomodation and gorgeous beaches to visit would be really great and much appreciated. The kind of clubs I'm interested in would be anything playing funky house, minimalist techno, rock/metal, anything other than mainstream music basically. About me - I'm 24 years old, looking for work (any tips there would be awesome too) and I love music, people, swimming, surfing (both online and in sea) partying and general fun.
