For me it is quite simple really. I mostly play just one game and it is Flight Simulator X. The rest of the time I need my notebook for e-mails, WORD, EXCEL, etc. I don't think Vista will cause me too many issues as Flight Sim is designed for Vista and Office is the 2007 version.

As I flew into San Francisco this morning, the frame rate started to slow down and I was wondering, "Man, the X200 would run this so much better!" Hahahahaha. However, I landed safety, haha:D

Hey it is strange that Dick Smith does not stock or even advertise the X200.

You can goto the powerhouse at DES and order but?? only the people will Balls will stock it because of being such a high priced machine and you have to remember if they stock it they hav to buy it first. no one wants to stock this machine if it dosent sell.

I used to get $4500 machines at DSE Powerhouse but for some odd reason they don't want to stock these high-end machines anymore. I thought Powerhouses were there to stock such things!

Oh well.

Dam Vista it seams you need Vista compliant games for it to play propery I have been having issues and UGGH!! im almost out of hair to pull out. I have just posted a new forum in the windows section and will see what happens there.

Yeah, that is one thing XP users need to be aware of when switching to Vista. My Flight Sim is made for Vista so it shouldn't cause me too many issues.

CBDKID have you had any issues with programs so far.

So far no problems except KOTOR2, but I just needed to change a .dll file they provided. Tried FEAR, WoW, CS source, DOD source, Warhammer Online. Oblivion working fine too, but Morrowind does not work. I think its the same on all Vista machines.

Do you find with all games you can turn up the effects / quality settings to the max? And even on max it runs with great frame rates?

Runs with acceptable framerates like I showed with my previous posting with different effects in CS source.
I'm waiting for my copy of bioshock to arrive, should be here today or tomorrow so then I'll post back how well it plays.

Ok I got Bioshock, not sure how to show fps and stuff in it but I can say with full settings it is very smooth, it only gets a bit jerky if you run into flames. Had to update to 163.44 nvidia drivers to get it to work though.

NO NO NO BAD IDEA!!! ive had to revert back to the old drivers due to B.S.D and constant crashes even including small dots on the desktop I am the same upgraded to these drivers to play War Harmmer 4000 Dawn Of War but had nothing but problems all I can say is YOU WILL SEE. Buy the way I got my ones of Softpedia.com where do you get yours.

Hmm when did you start getting BSOD and stuff? I got mine from laptopvideo2go.com. So far played WoW, CS source, DOD source and Bioshock with no problems except better frame rates.
