scottjpalmer: waiting . . . patiently waiting.
Can anyone who has brought from Dell recently tell me which courier company they use? Also, if you still have the link to the tracking website can you please see which status it moved to after "Loading for export" and how long there was between those stages?
Cheers

I’ve brought 2 laptops from them. They used PBT couriers. Both laptops went through different stages in the status / tracking page, so not sure anything I said would correspond to your order.

So far so very good! Very impressed with presentation of both notebook and accessories, performance good, haven't used it proper as I'm too busy all day and half the night but it'll come! I have recovered it to get rid of the bloatware etc, just working out what to install etc now. Stay tuned!

By the way, slightly off-topic but how can you tell whether your video card is a DDR2 or a DDR3?  Advertisers often get it wrong.  Can it be checked?

Windows Vista SP1 was just recently released to partners and the Dell product in this discussion was ordered at the same time. They would have no time to install SP1 on this model before sending out.

As MF said, no SP1.

This is something I need to find out how to do too.  Not many people know how to check itXD  Anyone?
