It seems strange to advertise a product which is sold here which isn't able to be successfully run in New Zealand

It does work with GB-PVR, Media Portal or DVBViewer. It's just that HP rely on VMC for TV and that doesn't support H.264 so won't work out straight out of the box. HP should really be telling customers this..

What player were you using? - Do you get a strong DVB-T signal, how's the HD picture?

I've got a feeling I might be in a DVB-T black hole here in Kilbirnie, snug up against the bottom of Mount Vic & Mount Albert, so not much chance of getting a Mount K signal, with Hataitai and the Miramar peninsula and Mt Crawford blocking the Fitzherbert signal.

I usede MediaPortal and got a good signal.  HD picture on the Freeview HD Demo channel was great!  Laughing
