That did it I need to have enough Jack Daniels to induce amnesia 😀

So worked up you need to swallow some Jack? :-P

Any laptops that DONT have fans or vent on the bottom ?

So that it can be placed on a bed ?

I'm not that familiar with ARM based Windows hybrids, but the HP Elite Folio was one that Google "recommended" (imagine there are others).

The Folio looks like it can actually be used comfortably without requiring a flat-surface/table (i.e. on the lap).

Couldn't find any info on the thermals, but, a teardown video (from HP themselves no-less) indicated cooling is passive.

The old/original x86 notebooks that came out in the late 80s, early 90s worked fine on one's lap (well, for the odd one that could comfortably sit anyway), and basically didn't have thermal issues because the silicon didn't run fast enough. Nowadays, I think most (all?) x86 CPUs require active cooling.
