I recently got a Dell XPS 13 inch, it’s a great laptop.

I bought a laptop a couple of months ago. It was dispatched from their factory in a couple of days, but delivery took about 2 weeks and you don't get any tracking information until a couple of days before it is delivered.

I've used their online ordering for a few laptops now, the actual delivery etc is all fine, but research the model you're looking to buy in depth first. My latest one has an annoying trackpad issue which it seems is very well known (and finally seems OK to me) but I didn't look into it beforehand so it was quite annoying at first. Only issue I have with ordering from them is their address validation doesn't put lines in the right order for certain addresses such as Flat x, street address. The street address gets printed first and then the flat number for my house so I have to manually get them to change it after I place the order as the first order ended up at the neighbour's house (without signature as the courier honoured authority to leave)

Can't remember exactly how long it took to arrive as it was so long ago, but don't remember waiting very long for it.

Ah I see. Thank you for your honesty. Last question if you don't mind. Were you required to pay customs duty when you made your purchase with Dell NZ?

Sorry just seen this. No there was no extra fee to pay.

All Dell prices include GST and delivery .... what you see is what you pay is what you get 😁
