azza08: As said before my main purpose is for Lan Partys but while im at home i would use if for watchin movies in bed (When Im Sick) showing photos to my mum and other famly memebrs when Im away from home accesing the net via the 1gb day vodafone dongle and of all playing games where and when ever i want.

Wait there... First it's  1 GB (gigabyte) not 1 Gb (gigabit) plan. And second, it's per month, not per day. Don't go using like crazy because you will be in for a huge surprise bill if you think it's a daily limit!

Well, IIRC it shows down after 1GB - for me, its a rip off the pricing of Vodafone - other ISPs have the excuse of having to rely on Telecom infrastructure, Vodafone can't use the same excuse given they own the infrastructure.

No, it doesn't slow down. It keeps going at same speed. You just pay more.

Go read the plans before writing about things - this is misleading.

The current plans are 1GB and 3GB. There's a $10 100% insurance option: you pay an extra $10 for 100% of your allocated allowance, but after this you start paying per megabyte. At the same speed.

And I fail to understand how your comment to my comment is on topic?

I brought to attention that the plan is 1GB month, not day and you reply to me about infrastructure, prices, and with wrong knowledge of how the plan works.

Really wrong reply...

Strike one. Next time you use this kind of language here you are banned.

I just saying it's off topic and you start a big tirade about something unrelated.

Explaining a plan is montly not daily is one thing because it was in the context. Going on that costs are this and that, because of the infrastructure, etc. is off topic and you should create another topic to vent your frustration.

So has this beast of a notebook arrived at Harvey Norman?

Cloud spending continues to surge globally, but most organisations haven’t made the changes necessary to maximise the value and cost-efficiency benefits of their cloud investments. Download the whitepaper From Overspend to Advantage now.

I don't know, I haven't called today since they sounded rather pissed off from me calling them everyday last Friday.

Well, you have every right to call and the people who should be angry are the customers. How hard is it to ship in notebooks?  Hahaha...

Logistics problem lol? I never thought it'd take this long for them to ship from one part of Auckland to another, few days tops, not a week or 2.

I was about to go in to buy the notebook today at Portables Plus but then decided that I needed to do some budgeting before I go splash out, hahaha.
