Has anyone used these guys? ...

http://batterystore.co.nz/about_us

Need a new battery for the Vaio - almost had a coronary when I found out how much Sony want for a genuine part.

Last thing I need however is dodgy product/service.

Then you need only to look at their Contact Us page to figure it's an overseas operation - the contact address is empty, the only phone number is a US number. Then you go their Delivery Information page and read "Shipping to other worldwide countries is Hong Kong Post Registered airmail service..."

You only need 30 seconds looking around the site to figure your best option is to get a legit Sony battery instead of sending your credit card details to somewhere unknown.

Batterystore and all those other overseas vendors will require you to send anything faulty or wrong back to an overseas address.

NZ post are insanely anal about posting batteries so you have to spend like $40 at a minimum to get it there, so returning faulty things is not worth it.

No worries on the card details Mauricio, that's the banks problem to clean up if they get lost/compromised ;)

Note they have used another site, not the one in the original post...
