Oh, and will the machine even use it?

Just looking about, as Windows 7 Start is 32bit, am I limited to 3Gb so I just put a 4Gb card in it?

If it is Windows 7 Starter then it's limited to 2GB so no point putting any more RAM in as it won't use it.

ok as an after thought... can I upgrade this puppy to Windows 8? Will that let me use more ram or will I then just run around on CPU and IO?
