Looks like Lenovo is not making Ideapad Yoga 13 available to NZers. I am closely watching Lenovo NZ website but was surprised that there is no word about Yoga 13's availability in NZ. Instead I see less-attractive ( compared to Yoga 13) Thinkpad Twist updated on their website.

Why Lenovo? Why not bring Yoga to our shores?

I also want one of these.

After speaking with a nice lady from www.softsource.co.nz (a local Lenovo dealer), it seems that Lenovo is currently only in AU/NZ for the business market - meaning Thinkpad range - where the Ideapad is in their consumer range. Apparently "talks" are under way regarding this, but was told not to expect any changes for another 6 months.

Looks like import via U.S. is the only way - but warranty is effectively useless should something go wrong.
