I have an H.P. NX6120 laptop which seems to have a problem with its video. When drivers for video are loaded, the signal is divirted to the external video output.  was told by H.P. to update the BIOS withe the latest patch. Wrong move..
Now i can only use the laptop with an external monitor.
I need to find an original BIOS copy, H.P. say they do not keep the old versions, i have given up talking to myself whenever i ring them.....HELP someone  PLEASE

You should see an option in the BIOS when more than one output is available where you can check which one is the default monitor. Also, check that you are using the correct video drivers and that your video driver configuration is correct (not swapping Monitor 1 and Monitor 2).
