Our Asus UX31E Ultrabook has unfortunately died, and now I've got $1,800 worth of credit for Dick Smith to buy a new one.

Main requirement is that it is small & light, yet powerful enough for multitasking/lots of browser tabs/watching videos etc.

Ideally it would be neat to get a comparable machine for a bit less leaving a bit of credit up our sleeve for other items.

Dick Smith have very few ultrabooks available these days, and the most similar I can find is this:

It's a new model with very few reviews available online. My main query is whether anyone here knows much about the processor etc of this - particularly compared to our UX31E.

The above Samsung ultrabook features an AMD "quad core" "up to 1.4GHz" processor, and AMD HD8250 graphics. This is compared to our Asus which was an Intel Core i5-2557M CPU & Intel 3000 graphics. Most other specs are fairly comparable, other than a lower resolution on Samsung screen.

Samsung appear to have been very quiet on the details of the AMD quad core processor, do any of you have any alarm bells around these?
