Hi All

Not being all that conversant with laptops I'm hoping you can offer me some advice

I need a laptop to use when I'm away from home which would be suitable for light Autocad use. It would require a 15.6 screen and be reasonably priced - perhaps up to $2000.

I'm not a big user and don't mind something thats not lightning fast and battery life is not a major issue.

Any thoughts?

Just about any $700 from DSE / HN with 15.6" screen would be fine for 'light' AutoCAD use. If you are viewing stuff in 3D you should probably get one with a separate/dedicated graphics chip, probably still sub $1k.
