Any recommendations for my 12.5" notebook and ideally some space for a mouse? Primarily for use in bed. If it can fit in economy class, that'd be a bonus.

Thanks in advance.

well all I use is a laptop chill pad and place it on top of the laptop bag. the bag is filled with manuals and cds and cables. so pads it out

the problem with bed is if the matrice is old.. it tends to have saggy bits and so can make the bag uneven.
but will juggling bigs in bag about can even it out :)

could try some cotton tshirts in it or socks might be good.. rolled up

and for mouse I have a MS mouse 4000 with sight button for zooming text

being wireless and optical it works on the bed quilt cover just fine.

at moment its blue with some planet and star pattern.

dont need a speace for mouse.. then.. roll it infront of the laptop bag.

and the cool pad is a logitech.. has a sponge and material pad on bottom.. however
I did duct tape a hard cardboard on bottom to prevent the cool mat invent at bottom
getting blocked by the bag

HP i7 15.6 inch screen though but should work with any size notebook or device..

for andriod tablet I have a 360 leather case cost like $10 from dx.com and also works well
on top of filled laptop bag... the pockets go bed side and the flat side of bag for cool pad.

prob easier to photo it and upload lol.. anyhow back to watch some stuff on it.

Thanks

I ended up getting a Deepcool N1 Notebook Cooler. Not big enough for mouse, but I realised a pad that big would probably not fit in an economy class seat very well. Does the job, and mouse just sits on an A5'ish book.
