Looking for a laptop to run Autodesk Revit

Main criteria:
- Around 1.5kg or less
- 8GB ram
- Non-intel graphics (pref NVidia)
- i5 min
- Under $2K

Basically trying to hit the 'balanced performance' criteria from the system requirements and keep the weight and price down at the same time.

The non-intel requirement is just a result of seeing forum posts with issues - I get the impression Autodesk Revit is hit and miss when it comes to intel based graphics.

It looks like the price criteria + the non-intel graphics requirement excludes the macbook pro lower range unfortunately.

At the mo it's looking like the closest fit is an i7 2.14kg E440 maybe with some additional RAM and maybe a Win7 downgrade. Lenovo are not offering an SSD upgrade on this model but that's not a deal breaker. It seems very hard to hit that price mark around 1.5kg for the features.

the 1.5kg / 2k bit is hard ... you are looking for an ultrabook which tends to want to save power by using intel graphics.

revise your weight? (or up the price A LOT)
