Have a Toshiba Satellite L50 that has a spill proof key board. Anyone ever dismantled one? Have one which copped a cup of tea (with honey)
I took out all the screws and the bottom came off which is brilliant access to all connectors and cooling. It has an interesting really small internal battery pack, so not easily user changeable.
Anyway couldn't see how the keyboard came off. Peeked under the PCB and could see no signs of liquid. So just cleaned the one sticky key from the front.
Would be nice to know how the keyboard comes off for a proper clean/replace if necessary.
