Time to get a new battery for my daughters Sony Vaio laptop.  The laptop itself is no longer available but I see the battery listed as available on a number of 'NZ' websites but pretty sure the product all comes in from overseas.  I am not to worried these are not genuine Sony batteries but I just don't know enough to know which are safe sights and which are not.

Any one bought a replacement battery from somewhere they would recommend?

thanks

Give the Sony store a call tomorrow with the laptop in front of you and see if they can help.

I've used one based in Christchurch. I'm pretty sure it was http://laptopbattery.co.nz/

Edit: Confirmed it was them. Had no problems with them.
