Hey all,

Just got myself a windows 8.1 tablet (Acer Iconia W1-810) and pretty happy with it. But when using it in desktop mode, using fingers and an ordinary stylus is absolutely frustrating to say the least, navigating menus etc. Especially on an 8" screen.

I was looking at these:

I don't care that much about their advance functions (though it would be nice if they worked), but these are the only ones I can find with a fine tip that don't have a stupid swivel head on them. The microsoft one says exclusive to the surface pro, but is this with just the BASIC function of a stylus as well?

opinions on these and other recommendations would be much appreciated.

Thanks,

Josh

no digitiser in the screen of that so those 2 stylus with Wacom and N-Triq tech in them won't work

you need one that works on an iPad with no digitiser

I want one with a really fine tip though, that one is close enough to what I'm using.

thanks for the information about the digitiser stuff though

If it's a capacitive screen, you're out of luck. I'm pretty sure they need to be that size or they don't work.

that is really lame. I guess that explains the ones with the see through swivel tips.
