I see that these are on sale at Noel Leeming for $249 and I was wondering if anyone had one and could comment on them.

I really just want a Windows tablet that I can stream video to without having to convert it so wondering how it performs with video up to 1080p over a network using something like VLC.

I think it will be ok, but maybe a link to the spec?

I have a 7" quad but I'm not 100% sure I will have time to check for you in the next day or so.

That's a pretty good price. I've been wanting to buy one for a while. Walmart were the first to sell them last Xmas and there are loads of positive reviews.

I recommended it to a friend who got one and they were very happy with it.

I have noticed on Walmart that they have new models on sale hence the sale price here in nz.

I think the only down side of the Nextbook is the 1gb of memory.

The new models have full size USB ports and back lit keyboards but there have been comments that they use more power be because of the updated keyboard.

Ps warehouse stationery is out of stock so another good indication they are end of line.

niece has one, they are very heavy and clunky to other tablets, im comparing this to my TF700T which is now 3 years old. But it is a little to be expected foe the price point.

She uses it for intermediate and seems to do what shes needs, haven't tried it for anything more than web browsing

Thanks for the offer, Nathan, but the price has gone back up and I shall live with what I have at the moment :)
