Hi,

After a drop the physical click on my macbook pro is stuck or somehow no longer available. It still tracks the mouse and I can use the tap to click however.

I am keen to get it repaired. I was wondering whether anyone:

  1. Has any experience carrying out a replacement themselves and if os how difficult or complex it is (a look on ifixit suggests there is not quite a bit of disassembly involved, or
  2. Would recommend a service provider in the Auckland area

thanks,
Jonathan

Insured?  Your excess is probably cheaper than paying for it outright or risking doing it yourself and making the situation worse.
