My old Dell inspiron 1545 laptop's hard drive is fried. I have a spare hard drive (same brand, Tosheba) from a laptop i just replaced with an SSD.

I'm now trying to install windows 7 again but i cant find the original install disc. I have the licence key (on a sticker under battery) but i cant find windows 7 iso files online either. Just want to put them on a USB drive and install windows.

Anyone know where i can get the iso file from?

Was going to go straight to windows 10 however when i enter in the license key, it says its not valid as it's from Dell. Windows 10 might not even work on it anyway so better to stick with windows 7 for now.

Dells recovery process is stupid... the recovery files are on a petition on the hard drive which is kinda dumb for times when the hard drive fails!!!
