I've been looking to get a new laptop for a while now and noticed that Dell have a new 2-in-1 which is the Latitude 5285. I almost fell off my chair when I saw the price though. (Granted, the Latitude 7275 wasn't exactly cheap either.) Out of curiosity I decided to compare the price to the Dell US store. Dell NZ - NZ$3344.20, Dell US - ~NZ$1273.20 (using xe.com to do the conversion). It's almost 1/3 of the price. WTH?
It almost seems as if Dell don't want to sell these in Aus/NZ - I haven't checked the Aus price, but have assumed it to be similar to the NZ price. Can someone explain the huge price differences? I get economies of scale, but to this degree!?

Guess I won't be getting one of these from Dell NZ then!
