I'm looking to replace my netbook which is used for internet, emails and streaming. No gaming.

I was looking at 2 Dell Inspiron i3s. Both are the same price $640

One has

8gb ram,802.11bgn wireless and 4.0 bluetooth

the other has

4gb ram, 802.11ac, and 4.1 Bluetooth.

All other details are the same. I realise the 8gb machine has the older  wireless and Bluetooth specs.

So am I better off with 8gb ram or the newer specs?

Both have the same hard drive ?

I would go ram over wifi/bluetooth

However if one had a SSD then i would pick that over everything else

Processors don't sound like the same generation.

You may be able to upgrade the RAM yourself.

Also if you need wired LAN / Gigabit Ethernet make sure to check that too.
